Who We Are

We're an occasional meeting of Missions leaders in the Sacramento area. Most of us have found that running a Missions ministry in local churches is challenging. There is often a feeling of disconnection and weak communication between churches and the Missions they support. There is often a lack of awareness for many people in the church about what the missionaries they support are doing, or even who they are. We decided to invite Missions team leaders to get together for a quarterly round table to share ideas, encourage each other, pray a bit, and hopefully drink a bit of coffee. We are not rooted in any particular denomination, our focus is to see the gospel reach the nations and we try to hold our arms as wide as we can while holding on to the core elements of the gospel.

What Is a Point of Confluence?

It's a geography term for places where things come together. It's the point where two streams converge, or the place where lines of latitude and longitude cross. For us, it's a quarterly meeting of Missions-minded church leaders coming together to discuss how we can use Missions more effectively in our churches.
